LINKS AVENUE COMMUNITY PANEL
The community panel was established at the request of the commissioners to find a community-led alternative solution to the problems on Links Avenue. We are locals, independent of the council.
This site has been created, so we can share information and collate your feedback.
Problem Statement
Lifestyle, safety and convenience for those who live in the Links Avenue neighbourhood, and for those who need to access Links Avenue for school and recreation/visiting, are being seriously compromised by:
(a) too much traffic; and
(b) the council’s proposed solutions to too much traffic.
The problem statement was unanimously agreed by The Panel on the 02 August 2022 after a series of workshops to understand the wider impacts to the Links Avenue community. You can read notes from this meeting and others on the Updates page.
